yeap, went to somerset again to check out the new skatepark. wasnt as packed as last time but still a little crowded. probably cos its new and the stuff there are really good. met wif wilson then took 77 to cine then walked to somerset. saw kevin, joel and janan skating by but were too far to hear us, haha. met up wif them at the skatepark, skated on everything except the pyramid and the quarter pipes cos there were too many bladers hoggin it. didnt want to humiliate myself also, haha X) the free grind rail was cool, shaped like a bump where u jus roll into the grind. the mini ramp was nice also, did some drop-ins, rock to fakies and kickturns. lol, not that good in vert tho...skated for 2 hours+ then went to 7-11 for drinks. after that went to the stage area at the youth park. there were a group of 5 matts there, watched them skate, only 1 of them could do a heelflip off, 3 could ollie off it and the other one jus sat there. haha, wilson said this 'the good news is that these matts are not very good. the bad news is that these matts are not very good.' haha, the 1st one meant their skills and the 2nd one meant their attitude. even tho i landed my kickflip off the stage, they were jeering at me. when their fellow matt landed his heelflip, they cheered. janan said ' they dun go skatepark cos they scared of the pro matts' haha, i wanted to laugh out loud but the stupid matts were there. in fact, its the pro matts that are supportive of u even when u fail the trick, after seeing u fail on that trick many times, they will approach u and giv u some tips on how to improve.
went back to the skatepark as had no business there. did some ollie manuals on the manual pad and skated the banks till about 3 when wilson had to leave. then kevin said there was a six set dropoff over at the corner and said that joel will ollie it if i did, haha. went to check it out for myself, nice spot! so i and joel ollied it, 3 times in a row while kevin took some pics. haha, here they are...

haha, cool. at first there was this guy sitting down (u can see him in the pics) on the bottom stair close to where i was going to ollie. janan asked him to move but he didnt so i jus went ahead and ollied past him, haha really cool, too bad kevin didnt take the pic. decided to ciao after that, nothin' much to skate anymore as it was getting crowded, peak hour 3:30 to 6:30. hahax...
