Woohoo!
physics tuition this morn form 9 to 1030 sianz, only me today cos the other 2 guys had some band thingy in school. went home and played stupid maple story cos i had time to kill, till 1200 then had lunch and headed over to alvron studio to change the booking from 1 to 130 cos samuel and william were gonna be late. met mike on the way there, he was supposed to join us anyway tho, he wants to pick up drums as well so deided to check us out...around 115 sam and will came. song! cant wait to start man, first time tring out alvron. the crash stand was darn irritating, kept drooping down but we couldnt tighted the knob to keep it there. practised 'down' and after the song, mike said to look at my sticks. found out that one of the tips had broken off! haha, i didnt even realize! said he saw something flying out when we were playing the chorus (my drum stick tip! argh!!!) found that piece on the floor. had to use the other side of the sticks to play cos the part where it broke off was really sharp and if i ruptured the snare, i'd be dead. =P
taught mike some basic beat, looks like hes gonna need some time to practice it. haha. dun worry man, i only took 1 month to pick up drums, u can too. hopefully u learn faster than learning ur kickflip. haha. ooooh, and 'dammit' rocks man! the drums for the song are so damn fun! im gonna practice the song from now on. after jamming for like 1 and a half hours, (i miss u, smoke over water, stay together for the kids, carousel) couldnt think of any songs to play. asked sam to play a drum solo. haha, damn nice, mike was looking at sam, thinking hes some crazy guy, guitar and drums so pro. lol. joel came at 300 asked him to play bass for us, haha, nice try tho. but he played drums wif sam, not bad man! soon time up alr, allowed one last song. 'down' again! haha, gotta get it down for kindred spirits...
finished wif it, then packed up. chucked my broken sticks into the bin and went straight to the cashier to get a new pair. zildjain 5A! o yea! haha. burns a hole in my wallet...jamming, $9.30, new sticks, $14.70, haix...sam and will went off to town. so joel, mike and i went to 7-11, got mash potatoes and freezes. then went to maplewoods condo to get a game from joel's fren cos we NEEDED it. going to darius house to play xbox. alr feeling really tired, maybe its from the sun cos it was killing us. but i think i was the jamming. haha =P went to darius place and watched them play first cos i needed to rest. yawnzzzz, then played till 8 then ciao cos my mom called. lol. ahhhh, thats about it la, unless u wanna know what happened at home after that. 830 - MTV Homewrecker and 900 - MTV Viva La Bam! anyway................................................new sticks!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! hahax XD
